The biggest obstacle to being used by God in our society is not the devil. It’s not the world or a political party. Perhaps it is the hearts of self-satisfied Christians who are proud, are unrepentant of their own sins, and will not give themselves to the process of change. They are angry about the condition of the world while being totally ignorant of the condition of their own hearts. The world needs to see Christians who can admit when they’re wrong, who can humble themselves and get close enough to God to make a difference in the scene around them. God wants people born of Him, with the light of Jesus Christ coming through them.
