Nahum 1:7 AMPC

Blessings in the Mighty Name of Yeshua Hamashiach!

The Lord is good, a Strength and Stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows (recognizes, has knowledge of, and understands) those who take refuge and trust in Him. [Ps. 1:6; Hos. 13:5; John 10:14, 27.]

God's Goodness: The verse begins with the affirmation that "The Lord is good." This highlights God's inherent nature as benevolent and faithful, providing hope and comfort even in difficult times.

Stronghold in Times of Trouble: The phrase "a stronghold in the day of trouble" portrays God as a protective fortress. This imagery suggests that believers can find safety and security in Him during life's challenges and adversities.

Adonai has Intimate Knowledge of Believers: The latter part of the verse, "he knoweth them that trust in him," emphasizes God's personal relationship with those who place their faith in Him. This indicates that God is aware of and…

LOOKING BEYOND FAULTS

Blessings in the Mighty Name of Yeshua Hamashiach!

We can not see the good in others if good is not in us! I would even say that the amount of good in you is what you'll see in others.

Matthew 7:1-3 AMPC

DO NOT judge and criticize and condemn others, so that you may not be judged and criticized and condemned yourselves. [2]  For just as you judge and criticize and condemn others, you will be judged and criticized and condemned, and in accordance with the measure you [use to] deal out to others, it will be dealt out again to you. [3]  Why do you stare from without at the very small particle that is in your brother's eye but do not become aware of and consider the beam of timber that is in your own eye?

Our own sins ought to appear greater to us than the same…

PRAY FOR YOUR ENEMIES

Blessings in the Mighty Name of Yeshua Hamashiach!

Luke 6:27-28 NKJV

“But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,  [28] bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.

Jesus gave us a perfect example of praying for our enemies when He was being nailed to a cross. In the middle of His own agony, He cried out, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23:34). He talked to His Father about the people who were harming Him. He did not ask for their destruction; He did not pray for revenge. He prayed they would be forgiven. Jesus had compassion on the deceived people who believed they were doing the right thing by killing the Son of God. They had no idea what was actually taking place. They had no idea…

WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS

Blessings in the Mighty Name of Yeshua Hamashiach!

Romans 8:37 says, “We are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” To conquer is to be victorious over an adversary. To be "more than a conqueror" means we not only achieve victory, but we are overwhelmingly victorious.

Satan is our adversary. He sends all kinds of life-defeating, joy-stealing attacks to threaten the well-being and faith of God’s children. Many of those attacks are listed in Romans 8:35–39: trouble, hardship, persecution, famine, nakedness, and sword. Paul is encouraging us to stand firm in our faith when those attacks come, reminding us that not only will we win in the end, but Jesus enables us to win now. Satan lacks the power to steal our eternal destiny, and he cannot separate us from the love of God right now. Nothing we face worries God in the least. If we are His children…
