Blessed Are The Pure In Heart
Blessings in the Mighty Name of Yeshua Hamashiach!
The heart is the seat of reality—the reality that God looks at. God doesn’t look at the outer appearance; He looks on the heart and sees things you think you’ve secretly hidden away where no one sees them. He says: “Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” (Jer. 23:24, NIV). All things are laid bare before His eyes, and His word is “alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart” (Heb. 4:12, NIV). God is after your heart. Jesus said, “For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander” (Matt. 15:19, NIV). God wants the condition of the heart to be right. The mystery of our existence is unlocked through the perfecting of our hearts through Christ’s indwelling Spirit. Often the focus of all our efforts is on finding satisfaction in life. We want to have fulfillment and to see our earthly dreams come to pass. Yet all these things will pass away, while the condition of your heart will endure forever.
