BREAKING THE CURSE OF A SLAVE MINDSET

There was a science experiment with rats in a cage. It started with leaving food at the open door of a cage, but as soon as the rats went beyond the door, they would be shocked. Eventually, they stopped attempting to leave the cage for food right outside the door. What's even more interesting is that the offspring of the rats were placed in the same position but were never shocked, and they didn't even try to leave the cage for food right outside the door. Mental conditioning is a real part of the African American experience. We will never be able to measure the psychological effects of slavery. Spirits of jealousy, envy, strife, and division are embedded in the minds of African Americans and only proper knowledge of God's Word and total surrender to God can the breaking of these curses begin. The door of blessings is open for everyone, but how many of us are still caring the shock of
our ancestors.

[4] The weapons we use in our fight are not the world's weapons but God's powerful weapons, which we use to destroy strongholds.
